What is a ghost light? – It is a light set on stage to keep ghosts away
Why is it bad luck to whistle in the theatre? – Superstition. In the 19th Century, sailors used to work backstage operating the fly system. They used to communicate via whistle (like they did on the ships), bringing fly lines in and out. Though we now use headsets to communicate backstage, the tradition has stuck.
How much does one modern LED stage lighting instrument cost? – $5,000
