The Healing Power of Arts – World Mental Health Day
Date posted: September 20, 2021
Sunday, October 10, 2021 – from 10 am – 12 noon
Fernwood Square – in front of The Belfry Theatre (1291 Gladstone Avenue)
To raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health, The Belfry Theatre, the Bateman Foundation, SNIWWOC and Raino Dance have come together celebrating the intersections between art and health.
Come dance under the sky with a community of movers all with their own headphones and a shared soundscape. Dance on your own in the company of others. Sanitized headsets will be provided on arrival, along with all materials for the paint experience. Wear clothes you won’t mind getting paint on to enjoy the experience with not a care in the world!
Despite the weather, we will gather and dance!
The event is free to all, however, spots are limited so register today to reserve your space.
