Job Posting – Box Office/FOH Team Member

The Belfry Theatre is currently accepting applications for a part time position on the Audience Services team, for duties in both Front of House and Box Office.
In Front of House, your role would be as a FOH Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all audience members; providing strong and effective leadership to volunteer teams; overseeing daily concession set-up, including inventory management and licensing control; and effectively communicating with Stage Management and Box Office staff.
As part of the box office team, you will be responsible for ticket sales and pick-ups at will-call and in advance of performances; selling single tickets and subscription packages; receiving donations; answering and routing administration calls while simultaneously taking box office calls; and handling cash and credit cards.
In both roles, you would be expected to provide customer service of the highest possible caliber to patrons, artists, and volunteers.
Candidates should possess strong communication, inter-personal and organizational skills, a flexible and friendly attitude, and be committed to upholding Belfry values of inclusivity and mutual respect. Basic accounting and math skills, and a familiarity with Word, Excel, and ticket sales/database software (specifically the Arts Management Theatre Manager system) would be assets for this position.
First Aid, Foodsafe and Serving It Right Certifications preferred, although the Belfry will provide training for the right candidate.
Shifts for this position are primarily evening and weekend, with a minimum of 1 shift per week in a Front of House role and 2 shifts per week in a Box Office role, during performance runs only. Opportunities for additional shifts during rentals and special events will also be available.
