Classic Jazz and Blues and the Sweet Notes In Between

Monday, February 17 at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm)

Featuring jazz, blues, gospel and soul by 2 great bands. Five Shadez of Blue is the opening act. Their repertoire includes classic jazz standards influenced by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Billie Holiday. Band members are David Watson, Kevin Carter, Vic O’Connor, Rhythm; Kathryn LeGros, Winston Lewis, Horns and Percussion; Lynne Penhale, Vocals.

Then Canadian / International Jazz singer, Maureen Washington and her trio take the stage. Her rich tones have captivated audiences for many years; encompassing the soul of Etta James, Carmen McRae and the modernity of Holly Cole. She is backed by Karel Roessingh-piano, Joey Smith-bass, Damian Graham-drums.
