Health Update – March 14

Date posted: March 14, 2022

As you may have heard, the latest health update is changing the provincially required precautions for patrons attending live theatre events. While we welcome these changes, we also recognize that many of our patrons have already arranged tickets for Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes with the expectation that the audience will be masked at those performances.

To ensure that everyone has an opportunity to feel comfortable while watching this show, we will continue to require masks for the first two weeks of performances, then relax that requirement for the following two weeks.

March 29 through April 10 – Masks will continue to be required throughout the theatre.

April 12 through 24 – Patrons may choose to wear masks if they wish, but will not be required to do so.

Online live stream broadcasts of performances from April 12 to 17 will also be available for those who would prefer to see the show from home.

If you are currently scheduled to attend an in-person performance and would like to change the date of your tickets based on these options, please email or call the box office at 250-385-6815, and we will be happy to reschedule you at no additional charge.

Concession will remain closed for the run of Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, and (as in pre-Covid times) outside food & drink will not be permitted in the theatre.

The Belfry will continue to require proof of vaccination as long as provincially mandated (currently through Friday, April 8).

Thank you for being part of the Belfry this season.
