Our live talk show hosted by CBC Radio’s Gregor Craigie and featuring interviews with Nigel Shawn Williams (Director), Lucinda Davis (Actor – Mercy), Mariel Grant Robson, Associate Professor of History at UVic, and Boma Brown, founder of the Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC).

Mariel Grant Robson is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Victoria. Honours degree in history from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, and a doctorate in history from the University of Oxford.

Boma Brown, Executive Director of the Coastal Research and Advocacy Network, Member of the Victoria-Harbourside Rotary Club and founder of the Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC). Brown was awarded the 2020 BC Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Award and was a top-ten semi-finalist in the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Canadian edition in February 2021. The award honours women who selflessly volunteer their time to serve their communities.
