Theatre SKAM
Erin and Allison have known each other for twenty years. But they haven’t really talked in about ten.
The Map is a tale of two cities, where two friends share all the post cards they never sent. Performed in the heart of Fernwood, the story spirals out in all directions, through neighbourhoods exotic and familiar, finding its way back to the Gazebo in time for tea.
Theatre SKAM is dedicated to creating and producing provocative theatrical works. Known for our innovation and sense of fun, SKAM was formed in 1995 with a mission to create theatre that was innovative and entertaining, and above all – never boring.
Erin Macklem and Allison Bottomley met in high school in Kelowna, BC. Allison is the Managing Producer for Theatre SKAM and, with this piece, a writer and performer again. Erin is a designer, writer, director and Artistic Associate at the Belfry Theatre.
