Gift Planning

There are many different ways that you can plan your legacy; each with different benefits to you and your family Giving to the Belfry, a cultural icon within Greater Victoria, is an opportunity for your legacy to be celebrated by artists, audiences and Canadians for generations to come.  The Belfry Theatre can access matching funding programs to increase the impact of your gift.

What Is Gift Planning (or Planned Giving)?

· A bequest of cash or securities by means of your will
· A charitable gift annuity
· A gift through a life insurance policy
· A charitable trust
· A gift through your retirement fund, including proceeds from Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs) or Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIFs)
· A gift of real estate.

It is always recommended to seek professional financial & legal advice on these options. To further discuss your options and to learn more about legacy gifts to the Belfry Theatre, please contact Susan Stevenson at 250-385-6835 or development@belfry.bc.ca.

If you have included the Belfry in your will, please allow us the opportunity to thank you and recognize your gift by notifying us.
