Inspiration

This years build is inspired by aspects of many excellent systems seen in the wild, yet strives to add it’s own unique flow to the pool of ever-evolving web apps.

Font

Heading font is Actor, body is trusty old Arial. We decided we really do love your eyes.

The Process and the Pieces

Well, here we are again, a new season and a new build!

This system was built in my new shiny IDE, Netbeans 7. The site contains a slew of custom this and that, written with various programming languages you are very interested in.

Design wise, as always with my work, the final product flowered out through the development process. Working with Mark’s initial concept, I give you a clean black/white and grey interface to get those images popping, then brighten you up with a random array of the seasons colors wherever you choose to interact with the system.

That’s how deep it goes, my poetry is php, so excuse my less than lavish prose.

Anyway, I’ve gotta run, as of writing this I still have the superbly designed online ticket sales system to port to this years look before we launch this new website to you on friday,  August 19, 2011.
