It is simply the most powerful story that I know – for any time of the year, and it is a beautiful way to celebrate the true meaning of the holiday season. It makes people happy and reminds us that it’s not too late to become a better person; to think about others and to be grateful for the love in our lives. Throughout the run of A Christmas Carol, the Belfry will be collecting food stuffs for the Mustard Seed Food Bank. Audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food (Canned fruit and vegetables, canned fish and meat, dry pasta, rice and oatmeal, cereal, pasta and cooking sauces), baby needs (formula, food and diapers) or personal items (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, socks and underwear).
